Fund raising for the first phase of our initiative was a huge success. We secured $250,000 in seed funding between December 2008 and March 2009! However, we need to sustain and grow this funding in 2010-2011. To launch the second phase of our initiative with the Pacifica School District, Increasing 21st Century Learning Skills, we must meet our funding commitments by June 2011!

Fund-Raising History
In summer and fall of 2008, the PEF Team began planning and organizing our fund-raising efforts based on two, complementary efforts, the Patron Pledge Program for donations of $1000 or more and a broad outreach in the community for PEF Memberships of $25-$500.
Since December of 2008, we've hosted 5 Patron Pledge events. In February of 2009, we began organizing our community outreach programs, starting with an ongoing series of neighborhood house meetings, a booth at the Pacifica Farmer's market through-out the summer and most recently, outreach to school families as we return back-to-school. Throughout 2010, we will be hosting events and working diligently to meet phase two of our funding goals. Please join us today!
