Become a Patron
Make an impact on our community. Every child deserves the opportunity to reach his or her potential. When education is valued in a community, the community thrives both socially and economically. PEF is able to make an impact through generous donations of community members and businesses who take a leadership position and donate at the Patron level ($1000 and above).
Become a Member
Not everyone is able to contribute at the Patron level, but any donation in any amount will make a difference. We encourage donors to consider becoming members at the $300 level, but donations of all amounts are welcome and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support!
Donation Week
In February, PEF holds it's annual Donation Week fundraiser. PEF representatives will be at all the schools in the district collecting donations. Learn more about the great work PEF does and support education in Pacifica. Show your school spirit by being the biggest fundraising school!
Corporate Matching
Make the most of your donation! Many employers will match donations made by their employees. Check with your Human Resources department to see if your company matches gifts. Remember to to see if your partner, your parents, or your friends work for a company that can match their much appreciated donations for education in Pacifica!
Silicon Valley Gives
Each year in May, Silicon Valley Gives svgives.org raises money for local nonprofits through a single online donation platform, providing a simple way to connect donors to the charitable causes they care about most and encourage them to take action. One of the pillars of SVCF’s mission is to strengthen the common good locally. This 24-hour online fundraising effort hosted by SVCF with the help of sponsors, will offer thousands of nonprofits the chance to raise millions of dollars.
In May 2016, PEF raised $51,575 during the 24-hour Silicon Valley Gives campaign. This included $18,000 in matching funds and $3,500 in hourly prizes for "most donors." Thank you! Stay tuned for SV Gives in 2017!
Events
Another way to support PEF is by attending and participating in one of our events. Two of our major events are the PEFathon Fun Run in June and our Casino Night in November.
PEFathon V Fun Run - A fun family event, partipants can run or walk and support education in Pacifica. This event takes place in June.
Casino Night - This is a great night out for adults which usually is scheduled in November. Table games, silent auction, appetizers and cocktails. Meet up with your friends from all the schools in Pacifica and have fun while supporting education in Pacifica. It is for the kids!
January Jazz - Presented by Music Matters in Pacifica a fun afternoon and evening of Jazz Music. The event begins with a 4 PM Matinee featuring music by student musicians and then is followed by an adults only evening with dinner, cocktails and live music. This is a favorite every year- don't miss it!
